The Domaine des Trois Forêts expands its range with 4 new Nature activities

Center Parcs - New - CSR & Sponsorship

Since it opened in 2010, the Center Parcs Les Trois Forêts estate has been constantly upgrading its offering and infrastructure to offer its holidaymakers an unforgettable experience in the heart of nature: moving upmarket, renovating cottages, creating new experiences and activities to discover and better understand nature, better integrating the estate into its local environment...

The Center Parcs Les Trois Forêts estate is continuing its strategy and on 05 June, alongside its local partners, it inaugurated 4 new nature activities for families and friends to discover, for a learning holiday in a protected environment. These activities have received financial support from the French government, the Grand Est region, the Moselle département and the 3 communities of communes of Sarrebourg, Phalsbourg and Saulnois.

Respect for the environment is at the heart of the brand's commitments, and the Domaine des Trois Forêts, like the other 6 estates in France, is ISO 14 001 and ISO 50 001 certified and has been awarded the "Clef Verte" label.  This triple certification, unprecedented in the sector, attests to the quality of the brand's environmental management system and its management of the estates in terms of waste recycling, energy consumption and water management.

THE NATURE TRAIL TO DISCOVER THE FLORA AND FAUNA

Located in the heart of the Domaine des Trois Forêts pine forest, the "Nature Trail" educational trail teaches young visitors about the wealth of flora and fauna.

To discover and better understand living things, young and old alike are invited to follow the little mascot along the 1.2km route to 12 totem poles that cover nature-related themes and appeal to different senses: listening to nature, recognising different coniferous trees, learning to calculate the age of a tree stump, but also a bit of reading to find out more about birds, insects or how the forest works, for example.

THE CONNECTED GREENHOUSE FOR LEARNING HOW TO GROW FRUIT AND VEGETABLES

Invented and developed by the Alsatian company "My Food", the connected greenhouse aims to encourage self-sufficiency in food by growing plants in aquaponics in greenhouses, to develop high-quality nutrition by reconnecting holidaymakers to healthy food and, above all, to give children the desire to grow, harvest and enjoy fibre-rich foods.

THE NEW CYCLE PATH TO CRISS-CROSS THE SARREBOURG REGION

To discover the region's riches, holidaymakers can now cycle around the Pays de Sarrebourg in a natural and safe environment, thanks to the new 8km cycle path linking the area to the 314km network of existing trails.

It's a great way to strengthen the local roots of the Domaine des Trois Forêts by developing local tourism via soft mobility, and to promote the region's tourist attractions.

A PHOTO EXHIBITION OF LOCAL TOURIST ATTRACTIONS

With the aim of promoting the region and contributing to the tourism, economic and social development of Moselle, the Center Parcs Les Trois Forêts estate now houses a permanent photo exhibition representing the 20 main tourist sites in the department.

Located at the main entrance to the estate, holidaymakers are immersed in the world of the estate as soon as they arrive.

A little extra: the journey time by car to the site from the Domaine des Trois Forêts is indicated on each photo.
