Five years ago, Anaïs joined Pierre & Vacances as Product Manager for the consumer web section. Today, as Head of E-commerce, she supervises a team of 13 people, made up of product owners, UX/UI designers and e-merchandiser. Her job? To ensure the ongoing optimisation of the website, offering customers a smooth and easy customer experience.

But what really sets Anaïs apart is her commitment to solidarity. A commitment that is not limited to her personal life, but also extends to her work. Initially, volunteering was not an integral part of her daily routine, mainly because of a lack of time. However, after the COVID period, the planets aligned...

"It all clicked when I was introduced to the LÉA association, and the poignant story of Jessica, who founded the association after Léa's death, touched me deeply", shares Anaïs.

It was this meeting that paved the way for a collaboration between Pierre & Vacances' web team and the association. The association needed advice and tools to improve its website in order to better support families.

Anaïs didn't hesitate to mobilise her team. She shared the project with each member, adapting the tasks to their respective skills. Morgan, Ornella, Laura and others took part in this adventure of solidarity.

"Every time the Foundation for Pierre & Vacances has spoken out, it has helped to integrate the project into our day-to-day work. This has helped many of our colleagues to take the plunge and get involved", explains Anaïs.

The team has benefited greatly from its commitment to solidarity. As well as improving the LÉA association's website, it was the team's ability to surpass itself, the meaning of work and the sharing of personal stories that helped to strengthen bonds.

Some managers may fear a drop in their team's productivity if they get involved in solidarity projects. Anaïs responds by underlining the importance of organisation and prioritisation.

"The support of top management is essential. It's a different approach to work, where we adapt the project according to the workload, in collaboration with the association. It's a worthwhile investment," she explains. For managers who are hesitant, Anaïs has a clear message: "Give it a try! It's a way of engaging teams, promoting their well-being at work and strengthening team cohesion.

The story of Anaïs and her team at Pierre & Vacances shows that a commitment to solidarity can be harmoniously integrated into everyday working life. This is the story of an inspiring manager who, through her leadership, has made solidarity a driving force within her team and beyond.

A huge thank you to Anaïs and all her team for their commitment to the LÉA association!
